Job summary

HappyGlobal Service is expanding its U.S. operations from New Jersey, seeking a Business Development professional with a solid scientific background in preclinical drug discovery and development. The role focuses on securing new opportunities and nurturing client relationships to drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will draft proposals, understand RFPs and contracts, and analyze the U.S. pharmaceutical landscape to inform strategy.

Qualifications

  • Strong scientific background in preclinical drug discovery and development.
  • 2-4 years of business development experience in pharma/biotech (preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO landscape.
  • Established network within the industry to facilitate business development efforts.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction to drive repeat business.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Draft and submit proposals (RFPs), cost estimates, and contracts (CDAs, NDAs, MSAs).
  • Analyze the U.S. pharmaceutical market and provide insights to inform company strategy.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events, including setting up exhibits and identifying branding opportunities.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure successful project execution and satisfaction.
  • Continuously refine bid preparation processes to align with client needs.
  • Review project reports and provide critical feedback to enhance content and accuracy.
  • Submit detailed reports on sales activities, client meetings, and industry events.

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to establish and expand the company's business operations in the United States. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by securing new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of the company's services and bid processes, ensuring that client needs are met with high-quality proposals and service delivery.
