Job summary

The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking an experienced administrator to provide professional guidance, supervision, and coordination in the departmental administrative duties of the graduate program. This role supports recruitment, admission, enrollment, and course assignments, and oversees the annual cycle for BCMB and GSBS operations.

Responsibilities include managing applications, coordinating events, tracking milestones, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates administrative duties pertaining to the graduate program.
• Assist students with recruitment, admission, enrollment, and course assignments.
• Manage new student application process; send information, follow up on applications, circulate to faculty for review.
• Coordinate online and in-person recruitment events and scheduling.
• Monitor registration to ensure correct courses and gather funding information.
• Assist faculty with GSBS course development and effort reporting.
• Manage data collection for teaching effort for BCMB courses and enter into POWER database.
• Schedule BCMB courses in Campus Solutions (mySTAR) and maintain roster; enter grades and distribute course evaluations.
• Assist with new course development and obtain approvals for courses.
