Job summary

Schuylkill Valley School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide districtwide behavioral support to students and staff. The BCBA will work with school teams and families to support students with complex behavioral needs while helping staff build sustainable, evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities include conducting FBA, developing Positive Behavior Support Plans, coaching staff, analyzing data, and supporting IEP teams.

Qualifications

Current BCBA certification required.
School-based experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of ABA, behavioral assessment, intervention, and data analysis.
Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills.
Valid Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 clearances.

Responsibilities

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans.
Provide behavioral consultation, coaching, and direct support within school settings.
Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Coach staff and model effective behavioral strategies.
Analyze behavioral data and assist teams in adjusting interventions based on student progress.
Support IEP teams with behavioral and social goals and interventions.
Provide professional development related to behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis.
Collaborate with families, educators, administrators, and outside providers.
Assist with Tier 2 interventions, pre-referral supports, and student transitions.
Participate in district-approved crisis prevention and intervention practices.
