Job summary

CSAAC Community School of Maryland (CSM) seeks a BCBA to provide educational support by developing behavior management plans and offering behavioral consultation for day and residential students. The role includes implementing programming systems for behavior and instructional support and adapting those systems as needed.

The position emphasizes collaboration with school staff, intake assistance for new students, and the design of data-driven strategies to meet IP goals and COMAR/Autism Waiver

Qualifications

Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) License by the Maryland Board of Examiners.
Knowledge in the field of autism.
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational and coordinative ability.

Responsibilities

Provides behavior management consultation to school coordinators and teachers to meet behavioral goals and guide educational programming.
Develops and monitors implementation of behavior management plans for day and residential students.
Assists in intake process for new students and designs treatment strategies for use in behavioral and instructional programming.
Designs and maintains systems for recording and tracking data to facilitate educational progress.
