Job summary

Nexus Children's Hospital – Shenandoah is seeking a compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a multidisciplinary inpatient team serving adolescents with complex behavioral, psychiatric, and medical needs.

The BCBA will develop individualized treatment programs, support staff and families, and drive data-driven decision-making within a collaborative hospital environment focused on safe, effective patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis services.
• Current BCBA certification in good standing with BACB.
• Experience with adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skill-based assessments.
• Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using evidence-based ABA principles.
• Analyze behavioral data and adjust treatment strategies to maximize outcomes.
• Provide supervision and training to RBTs and direct care staff.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patients and families.
