Job summary

Children's of Alabama in Birmingham is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed in Alabama to join the Behavioral Health Inpatient team. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Preferred 2 years’ experience working with children diagnosed with developmental delay.
• BCBA certification and Alabama state licensure at start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients, treatment team, and staff to address challenging behavior.
• Develop and implement individualized behavior plans and interventions.
• Enhance a child’s ability to function in daily environment through targeted strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and nurse practitioners on day-to-day care.
