Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide assessment, planning, and supervision of ABA services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will develop and monitor Behavioral Intervention Plans, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure ethical, compliant care.

The role includes supervising RBTs, training staff, collecting data, and communicating progress to families and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must be a BCBA in good standing with the BACB.
• Review and interpret highly technical information; write technical materials; and/or speak persuasively to implement desired actions; analyze situations to define core issues and draw conclusions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with ASD to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs.
• Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
• Design and implement evidence-based ABA interventions tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to reflect progress and address emerging needs.
• Apply ABA techniques to improve social, communication, academic, and daily living skills.
• Implement strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote positive behavior changes.
• Collect and analyze data on behavior and progress to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare reports to track client progress and communicate with stakeholders.
• Educate and support parents and caregivers in ASD understanding and home implementation.
• Provide guidance on managing challenging behaviors and enhancing communication and social skills.
• Work with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators for cohesive treatment.
• Supervise and mentor RBTs and provide training and feedback.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and offer professional development opportunities.
• Engage with community resources to enhance social integration.
• Ensure interventions adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
