Job summary

Gersh Autism in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dedicated BCBA to coordinate, schedule, and evaluate functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, behavior plans, and individual education plans for clients on the caseload. You will design treatment plans, train staff and parents, and collaborate with professionals to ensure effective ABA services.

The role requires a Master’s degree in ABA or related field, BCBA certification, NY licensure, and at least 2 years of ABA experience with autism.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education or related field.
BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
Licensed Behavior Analyst in New York state.
Minimum 2 years’ experience providing ABA services to children.
Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA).
Expertise in development of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
Experience supervising BCBAs and/or RBTs preferred.
CPR/First Aid/BLS, HIV Awareness Training, and 8-hour BCBA Supervision Training.

Responsibilities

Complete assessments, design treatment plans, staff training, parent training, and meetings with professionals.
Provide regular, interactive parent education in 1:1 and monthly group formats.
Provide staff training for teachers, paraprofessionals, and community members.
Supervise BCBA staff, RBTs, and other team members; participate in evaluations and feedback.
