Job summary
Gersh Autism is seeking an energetic, nurturing BCBA to coordinate, schedule, communicate and evaluate functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, behavior plans and individual education plans for clients on their caseload at our center-based Long Island locations.
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in ABA/related field, BCBA in good standing, NY license, and at least 2 years of ABA experience with children on the autism spectrum; supervision of staff and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
- BCBA certification in good standing with BCBA Board.
- Licensed Behavior Analyst, NY state.
- Minimum 2 years of ABA experience with children with Autism.
- Experience with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA assessments.
- Experience supervising BCBAs and/or RBTs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments and design treatment plans and staff training.
- Provide parent education in 1:1 and group settings.
- Deliver staff training for teachers and paraprofessionals.
- Supervise BCBA candidates, BCBAs and RBTs; participate in evaluations.
