Job summary

Achieve Beyond seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to conduct assessments for children with ASD, design behavioral plans, and supervise therapists in the NYC area. Responsibilities include data-driven program adjustments, caregiver collaboration, and ongoing progress reassessment.

Must hold BCBA and LBA, with at least one year of ABA supervision. Travel across NYC metro and surrounding regions may be required. Competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services, or Psychology.
• BCBA and LBA certifications required.
• Minimum of one year ABA client/teacher supervision.
• Self-motivated, a team player, and patient/professional.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for children diagnosed with ASD and collaborate with caregivers to create meaningful goals and treatment plans.
• Design behavior intervention plans.
• Create functional, observable, and measurable goals for behavior therapists and caregivers to implement.
• Provide at least 10% direct supervision of behavioral therapists assigned to cases, with feedback while ensuring program integrity.
• Clinically review session notes on a regular basis for assigned behavior therapists.
• Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes.
• Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants in therapy.
• Conduct reassessments at least twice per year while summarizing data and progress for each client.
• Regular communication with parents, therapists, and Achieve Beyond office.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
• Ensure programs are socially significant and lead to independence and happiness.
