Job summary

The Sheppard Pratt School - Hunt Valley is seeking a BCBA to support the Autism program, conducting functional behavioral assessments and developing intervention plans with the education team.

Requires a Master’s degree and BCBA certification with 2–3 years’ experience with developmental disabilities. Internal Bachelor’s candidates with more experience may be considered. We offer a strong benefits package, tuition reimbursement, generous PTO, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, behavioral psychology, special education or closely related field.
• BCBA at the time of appointment and ongoing; supervision certification is a plus.
• 2–3 years’ behavior assessment and management experience with developmental disabilities and/or autism.

Responsibilities

• Complete functional behavioral assessments and behavioral intervention plans for the Autism program.
• Prepare Positive Behavior Support and Management Plans and train staff in their administration.
• Supervise Assistant Behavior Specialist(s) and Resource Specialist(s).
• Serve as a resource to teachers, staff, and family regarding behavior support and management.
