Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join the Department of Special Education in Jersey City, NJ. The role emphasizes conducting functional behavior assessments, developing individualized behavior plans, and leading social skills interventions.

The BCBA will collaborate with educational staff, families, and other agencies, review data, and adjust interventions. A Master’s degree and NJ BCBA certification are required; start date to be determined.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited program.
• NJ Permanent Certificate BCBA required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts Functional Behavioral Assessments.
• Develops individualized behavior plans (goals, objectives and interventions).
• Develop social skills groups and interventions (goals and objectives).
• Trains school personnel on all intervention plans.
• Assists the educational staff in implementing behavioral programming; both individual and classroom.
• Reviews data on all intervention plans and writes progress notes.
• Advises and consults with the family and other agency personnel, as needed.
• Participates in in-service programs and presents in-service programs as assigned.
• Conducts social skills groups and individual lessons as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the District Superintendent or Director of Special Education as the Superintendent's designee.
