A nonprofit organization providing disability services in New Jersey is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver high-quality support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will conduct assessments and develop behavior support plans while ensuring regulatory compliance. They will provide direct intervention, train staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote independence and quality of life. Active BCBA certification and a Master’s degree are required.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or complex behavioral needs.
Active BCBA certification and applicable state licensure are required.
Responsibilities
Conduct behavioral assessments and develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans.
Design and oversee behavior modification programs to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
Provide direct behavioral intervention and on-call crisis assessment.
Skills
Behavioral crisis intervention and management
Knowledge of state and federal residential/group home regulations
Direct supervision in developmental disabilities services
CPR and First Aid certification
Proficiency with basic computer applications
Education
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field
Active BCBA certification and applicable state licensure
