Job summary

Empower Behavioral Health is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director in Edinburg, TX to provide clinical leadership, supervise BCBAs, and mentor staff. The role supports high-quality patient care and staff development within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a Master’s in behavior analysis, BCBA certification, Texas LBA, and at least 3 years working with autism or related disabilities. Travel is not specified; compensation ranges from $85,000 to $90,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field.
• Certified as a BCBA with the BACB & Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas.
• Minimum of 3 years working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
• Minimum of 1 year working as a BCBA.
• Knowledge of Catalyst or Central Reach data collection platform and Excel graphing preferred.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience presenting to small and large groups of parents/caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to staff and mentorship to BCBAs.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff and ongoing staff meetings.
• Support with patient intake processes and scheduling as needed.
• Ensure high clinical quality through data review, treatment plan checks, and program oversight.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director on clinic updates and priorities.
• Coordinate RBT and BCBA training and supervision.
• Oversee case management, data collection, and treatment fidelity checks.
• Support with insurance appeals and care coordination.
