Job summary

Gateway Pediatric Therapy, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Client Assessor to perform comprehensive initial assessments in Wayne County, serving Dearborn, Southgate, Livonia and Canton. You will gather input from families, document insurance-relevant findings, and support the creation of individualized ABA treatment plans.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree and is BCBA or BCBA‑D licensed in Michigan, with strong written and spoken communication, attention to HIPAA

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• BCBA or BCBA‑D with Michigan licensure.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with VB‑MAPP, ABLLS‑R, AFLS, FBA.
• Customer service oriented and detail focused.
• Willingness to travel to clinic sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of new clients, interviewing families and stakeholders.
• Use standardized ABA tools to evaluate skills and behaviors.
• Analyze results to inform insurance reports and treatment plans.
• Prepare accurate documentation aligned with insurance criteria.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely, compliant submissions.
• Explain assessment results and recommendations to families.
