Job summary

Gateway Pediatric Therapy in Dearborn, MI is seeking a BCBA to conduct comprehensive initial assessments and prepare insurance-ready reports to support individualized therapy plans. You will use VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R and FBA to evaluate client needs and communicate results to families.

This full-time role requires a Master's degree and Michigan licensure, with travel to client sites as needed. You will collaborate across teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA and insurance

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• BCBA or BCBA-D certification with current Michigan licensure.
• Experience with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, FBA, etc.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to clinic sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct and indirect assessments of new clients with families and caregivers.
• Utilize ABA tools (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, FBA) to assess skills and behaviors.
• Analyze results to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Prepare detailed, insurance-ready reports with appropriate coding.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure complete, accurate documentation.
• Explain results and recommendations to families clearly.
• Schedule assessments and coordinate with insurance companies.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and privacy standards.
• Stay current with ABA practices and insurance requirements.
• Attend trainings and meetings to enhance assessment skills.
