Job Title: BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Position Overview

BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst This is a full-time, in-person role located in Cottonwood Heights, Utah with a salary range of $90k - $115k plus benefits. The role is responsible for the overall leadership, clinical oversight, and operational management of the center. This position blends hands-on clinical supervision with business management - ensuring clients receive excellent, evidence-based care while the center runs efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with state and payer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
  • Treatment Oversight: Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing review of individualized treatment plans.
  • Staff Mentorship: Supervise and mentor BCBAs, BCaBAs, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other clinical staff.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct case reviews, treatment plan audits, and clinical quality checks to ensure alignment with the BACB Ethics Code and ABA best practices.
  • Team Development: Lead team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing staff training.
Operations & Compliance Management

BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, center scheduling, and caseload assignments. You will handle recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new clinical and administrative staff, while conducting performance evaluations and fostering a positive team culture. This role ensures full compliance with Utah state licensing requirements, HIPAA, and insurance regulations, alongside overseeing accurate clinical documentation using practice management software like Central Reach.

Business & Community Relations
  • Referral Networks: Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including pediatricians, schools, and insurance companies.
  • Family Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for parent/caregiver concerns and communication.
  • Outreach: Represent the center in community outreach and local marketing efforts.
Qualifications

BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field, alongside active certification and eligibility for Utah behavior analyst licensure. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing direct ABA therapy services is required, with at least 1-2 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or clinical director role. Strong working knowledge of ABA principles, insurance authorizations, and billing processes is mandatory, alongside a valid driver's license and a clean background check.
