Job description

Role Description The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Autism Centers of Utah is a full-time, on-site role based in Sandy, UT. The BCBA will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and design behavior intervention programs for autistic individuals across a range of ages and support needs. Daily responsibilities include supervising and training behavior technicians, monitoring treatment fidelity, analyzing data to adjust interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. The BCBA will provide parent and caregiver training, participate in team meetings, and ensure services comply with ethical and professional standards. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting insurance and authorization requirements, and promoting a positive, person-centered clinical environment.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, with demonstrated ability to design and implement effective interventions.
  • Knowledge of Psychology and behavior management principles to support evidence-based treatment planning.
  • Experience in Parent Education, including coaching caregivers to generalize skills and support behavior plans at home and in the community.
  • Current BCBA certification and eligibility to practice in Utah; adherence to BACB ethical standards and continuing education requirements.
  • Prior clinical experience working with autistic individuals or those with developmental disabilities in a center-based or similar setting.
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to provide on-site supervision, support behavior technicians, and manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
