Job summary

Sonaa, a Nashville-based telehealth care navigation company, seeks an Assessment Specialist (BCBA) to conduct behavioral assessments, develop individualized plans, and reassess progress every six months. Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher and active BCBA certification.
• Spanish fluency required.
• 3+ years of experience with functional behavioral assessments and behavior plans.
• Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting assessment tools and outcome measures.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams including collaboration with ST, OT, and PT.
• Prefer: NBDI modalities (ESDM).
• Extensive knowledge and training in behavior analysis.
• Prior experience supervising RBTs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct treatment assessments for patients with neurodevelopmental diagnoses to determine medical necessity and recommend care including ABA and allied therapies.
• Re-evaluate progress every six months using clinical information to adjust recommendations.
• Administer and interpret standardized measures (e.g., Vineland-3, BASC-3) to evaluate progress.
• Track progress with internal/external measures to ground recommendations in data.
• Coordinate with external providers for peer reviews.
• Educate families on rationale behind interventions and care plans.
• Develop brief behavior support plans for ABA waitlists to reduce challenging behaviors.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings to discuss progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
