Job summary

Marblehead Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary Student Services team in Marblehead, Massachusetts. The BCBA will provide behavioral support to students with ASD and behavioral challenges, using data-driven decision making to guide interventions and progress monitoring.

The ideal candidate holds BCBA certification, a Master’s in ABA or related field, and at least two years of school-based experience.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required.
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in school or clinical settings with ASD or EB disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs with school teams.
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and staff.

Job Description

Marblehead Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary team. The BCBA will provide behavioral support services to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional and behavioral challenges, and other disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data-driven decision-making, functional behavior assessments, and the development and implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in collaboration with school teams.
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and support staff.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Train and coach school staff in the implementation of behavior strategies and data collection procedures.
• Collaborate with special education teams, school psychologists, counselors, and families to support student success.
• Support the development of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and other school-wide behavior initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all federal, state, and district regulations.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) required.
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school or clinical setting with students with autism and/or emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Demonstrated expertise in data collection and analysis to inform behavioral programming.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and with the families of Marblehead.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in public school settings.
• Familiarity with IEP development and special education compliance.
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
