Job summary

Sonny’s BBQ is hiring a Prep person to support back-of-house operations and ensure high-quality BBQ products. You will help with food preparation, maintain sanitation, and assist in managing inventory and costs.

The role requires adherence to safety standards, the ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to train others. This position offers a fast-paced environment and opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet standards.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and quality controls in BOH.
• Must be 18 years or older and complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies to ensure food quality meets Sonny’s standards.
• Rotate cooked and uncooked items properly and safely.
• Maintain sanitary BOH area and proper cleanliness.
• Assist in food cost understanding and waste reduction.
• Train BOH team on cooking and reheating standards.
