Job summary

H-E-B in Austin, TX is looking for an energetic Hourly Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee Partners and direct the Store's True Texas BBQ operations. You will coach staff, ensure top-class customer service, and implement merchandising programs to drive sales.

You will also monitor the department's financial performance, manage schedules, inventory, and payroll, and ensure SOP compliance and food safety across daily activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 (mandatory).
• 1+ years of experience in the department, or comparable experience.
• Food Safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Partners with day-to-day direction and coordination of the Store's Restaurant-True Texas BBQ.
• Coach and train Partners; ensure adherence to SOPs and department procedures.
• Prepare work schedules, manage inventory, monitor the budget and payroll.
• Monitor financial performance and drive sales through merchandising and customer service.
