Sunpan, Baytown TX, is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage import/shipping activities on-site. You will coordinate carrier schedules, monitor shipments, and resolve issues to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in logistics, familiarity with freight forwarders, carriers, and compliance, plus an Associate/Bachelor’s in supply chain or related field.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in logistics or related field.
• Experience with freight forwarders, ocean carriers, customs brokers, trucking providers.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery appointments with carriers for import containers.
• Monitor import shipments and provide updates to internal teams.
• Communicate with ocean carriers, forwarders, truckers to resolve issues.
• Work with warehouse to align receiving activities and report discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with shipping, receiving, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and issue Delivery Orders to drayage partners.
• Review shipping documents against Bills of Lading.
