Job summary

Kitchell seeks experienced Senior Project Managers to join our Bay Area region in the city of South San Francisco and build a long-term career at one of the most innovative and growth-oriented building companies in the United States.

Provide PM/CM services as an owner’s representative on DSA K-12 education market sector programs or projects, with the required experience in vertical construction and California regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
• 12+ years in vertical construction, with 5+ years as Project or Construction Manager.
• Experience with California public education market under DSA oversight required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM/CM consulting services for owner in CA education market sector.
• Ensure delivery aligns with PM procedures and contract requirements.
• Manage procurement phases and development of RFQs/RFPs.
• Oversee contracts, drawings, estimates, and specs for project requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor contractors, engineers, architects, and related parties.
• Manage project controls, cost, schedule, performance, and client requirements.
• Identify and manage project risks and advise leadership accordingly.
• Participate in internal teams focused on continuous improvement.
• Enforce health and safety policies and communicate them to reports.
