Kitchell seeks an experienced Project Manager II to join our Bay Area region in South San Francisco and build a long-term career at one of the most innovative and growth‑oriented building companies in the United States. Provide PM/CM Services as an owner’s representative on a DSA k-12 education market program or project.

Lead project controls, procurement, contracts, and coordination with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
8+ years in vertical construction, 5+ years as Project/Construction Manager.
Construction experience in CA public education market under DSA oversight.

Responsibilities

Provide PM/CM consultant services for the owner in the CA education market sector.
Ensure operations follow PM procedures and policies.
Ensure delivery and contractual compliance across owner contracts.
Manage procurement phase and RFQ/RFP development.
Oversee contracts, drawings, estimates, and specs for project requirements.
Coordinate and supervise contractors, engineers, architects, and related teams.
Manage project controls, cost, schedule, and performance.
Identify risks and advise regional leadership on mitigation actions.
Participate in internal teams focused on improving the company.
Communicate health and safety policies and enforce them fairly.
