Job summary

Swickard Auto Group is seeking a seasoned General Sales Manager to lead luxury/import sales across our Bay Area stores. You will coach consultants, desk deals, and optimize guest experiences from first contact through delivery.

The role requires 3+ years of GSM or senior desk management at franchised dealerships, with strong CRM discipline and brand experience across Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Audi, Lexus, BMW, or similar brands. Bay Area opportunities with growth potential are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of General Sales Manager or senior desk manager experience at a franchised dealership
• Luxury or import brand GSM experience preferred across Bay Area stores
• Proven performance across volume, gross, and CSI
• Strong CRM discipline and follow-up culture
• Confident at the desk with quick, accurate deal structuring
• Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the sales team daily, coaching consultants and running desk sessions
• Desk deals with precision and integrity to satisfy guests and the store
• Manage floor coverage and guest experience from first contact to delivery
• Monitor key metrics: units, gross per vehicle, closing ratio, lead response time, CRM compliance
• Partner with finance for clean deal handoffs and seamless guest experience
• Support inventory management in coordination with the GM
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding sales consultants
• Resolve guest escalations with a solution-first approach
