Job summary

Roc Party Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day bookkeeping for our growing retail business. The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks and comfortable supporting multiple retail locations across the California Bay Area.

You will maintain accurate records, handle AP and reconciliations, and assist with month-end reporting while collaborating with our CPA. Some travel to Bay Area stores is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
• Experience with AP, bank reconciliation, and credit card reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Retail or multi-location business experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and be able to travel to Party Teller locations throughout the California Bay Area as needed.
• Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
• Enter and categorize invoices, expenses, payments, and other transactions.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and assist with vendor payments.
• Perform bank and company credit card reconciliations.
• Review and organize receipts, invoices, and other financial documents.
• Reconcile store sales, cash deposits, and payment records.
• Track expenses by store and department.
• Assist with basic month-end bookkeeping and financial reports.
• Work with the CPA/accountant and provide supporting documents when needed.
• Visit Party Teller stores in the California Bay Area to review records, collect documents, or resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned.
