Job summary

CEIS | Power is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to support second-shift operations in Pasadena, TX. This role requires 5+ years of shop experience and a focus on producing precision parts for rotating equipment such as pumps, turbines, and compressors.

You will interpret blueprints, set up manual machines, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, and ensure dimensional accuracy while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a shop environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and engineering drawings.
• Experience setting up and operating manual machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machine tools (lathes, mills, drills, etc.).
• Interpret blueprints and determine machining methods, tolerances and surface finishes.
• Measure and inspect components with precision tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts.
• Keep machines and work areas clean, safe and organized.
