Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Midland, TX is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately and efficiently complete distribution center tasks using RF barcode scanning, forklifts, and WMS systems.

You will load/unload batteries, restock, charge and test batteries, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support inventory reporting. No experience required, though prior warehouse experience and equipment familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• No experience required. Warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with RF/HH equipment and forklifts preferred.
• Ability to learn computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Load and unload batteries; restock batteries.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification.
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack, ship.
• General warehousing duties and housekeeping.
