Job summary

CPG is seeking a Critical Systems Technician II, Connected in Point Pleasant, WV to support battery systems for UPS deployments. You will assist with installations, maintenance, and safety-critical procedures while traveling up to 50% or more.

The role requires handling batteries, following MOPs, and using diagnostic tools, with extensive on-site and warehouse duties. OSHA 10 and NFPA-70E training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Clean driving records a must.
• Safe operation of department equipment.
• Basic AC/DC theory and electronics knowledge is expected.
• Training on multimeter, amp clamp, and AlberCellcorder is required.
• Understanding of isolation devices and Arc-Flash PPE usage.
• Ability to connect/disconnect battery strings and cabinets.
• Torque values and visual inspection of battery installs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with battery replacements and installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Assist in warehouse tasks as needed.
• Interact with internal and external customers.
• Follow MOPs and safety procedures.
• Travel up to 50% or more.
