Job summary

Stress Engineering Services, Inc. seeks a Test Engineer to turn complex questions into meaningful data in a heavy industrial lab setting. You will plan and execute custom tests, design fixtures, instrument hardware, and transform results into actionable insights.

Required BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of testing experience, plus strong data acquisition and instrumentation skills. PE license or eligibility is preferred; U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of testing/industrial equipment experience.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical testing methods and instrumentation.
• Hands-on aptitude with physical systems.
• Experience with data acquisition and test control systems.
• Ability to develop test methods, fixtures, and equipment with accuracy and repeatability.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving abilities.
• Familiarity with statistics (ANOVA, regression) and sample size justification.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
• PE license or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
