Job summary

DR Power LLP seeks an Associate Engineer to support engineering lab testing, equipment maintenance, and data acquisition. You will design fixtures, document procedures, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate test results and compliance with ISO 17025.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, data handling, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to mentor technicians and participate in process enhancements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 15 Years relevant work experience, or 12 years of relevant experience and an Associate Degree in related field.
• Proficiency in proper use and application of various hand and power tools.
• Proficiency in use of basic and advanced electrical and mechanical test equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment and setup for product testing per test procedures.
• Prepare data acquisition devices for recording measurements.
• Design, build, implement, and document electrical & mechanical test fixturing to support lab testing needs.
• Maintain test and lab equipment in calibration and operation per ISO 17025.
• Work with internal/external engineering teams to support lab work.
• Respond to lab support requests promptly and drive to resolution.
• Support R&D testing issues through troubleshooting and improvements.
• Participate in cost-reduction and product/test equipment improvements.
• Correlate and document test data; maintain test documentation in database.
• Lead calibration of test equipment and instrumentation.
• Assist with Engineering Lab audits and 5S.
• Update policies/procedures for continuous improvement of the lab.
