Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience with electronics and high voltage systems.
• Experience with electronic analysis tools.
• Proven ability to work in teams and cross-functional.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of disciplined root cause analysis procedures (8D, 5Y, Fishbone).
• Independent, systematic and process-oriented work.

Responsabilités

• Perform analysis and tear down of high voltage battery systems.
• Perform external diagnostic inspection and data logging checklist prior to tear down.
• Set up and operate test equipment on warranty returned components for level one functionality performance and other operating characteristics per the customer complaint.
• Tear down and root cause analysis and documentation (8D, tear down report, etc.) of product failures from the field.
• Work with System Analysis Engineers to develop & improve product tear down and analysis work instructions and procedures.
• Support development of battery diagnosis and service procedures to be performed in the field.
• Communicate with customer service departments to evaluate in field failures, data recording and warranty returns when necessary.
