Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is hiring a Battery Storage Technician for the Yuma, AZ site. You will operate and maintain Battery Energy Storage Systems to balance grid demand, performing routine mechanical and electrical maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting faults, repairing components, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. The role requires outdoor work, good communication, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year technical experience or technical education.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Ability to climb / work safely from a portable ladder.
• Ability to understand directions, follow procedures, and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• 10% travel.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical, electrical maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Wear all required safety equipment to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
• Understand electrical and mechanical functions of all components of a battery storage facility and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults; repair and/or replace components.
• Maintain company tooling, facilities and equipment and a clean safe work environment.
• Work a 40 hour work week and be subject to overtime; schedule may vary.
