Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Battery Storage Technician for the Yuma, AZ area to operate and maintain Battery Storage project sites. The role covers Electrical and Mechanical maintenance for BESS systems to balance grid supply and demand.

The position requires a 40-hour week with possible overtime during peak periods, outdoor work in varying weather, and travel between Phoenix and Yuma regions. EPA certification is preferred though not required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1 year technical experience or education in mechanical/electrical fields.
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Able to climb or work safely from a portable ladder.
Follow procedures with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance and inspections on equipment.
Wear safety equipment and inspect, maintain, or repair equipment.
Understand electrical and mechanical functions of battery storage facility components.
Troubleshoot faults; repair or replace components.
Maintain tooling, facilities and a clean, safe work environment.
Work 40 hours per week with overtime during peak maintenance periods.
Support BESS and Solar sites across the Phoenix and Yuma areas.
