Job summary

Overland Contracting is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field-based delivery of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Georgia. You will coordinate site construction activities, safety performance, schedule execution, cost control, and quality outcomes while partnering with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.

Travel to project sites is required. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering, 10+ years of supervisory experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred, or relevant field experience.
• 10+ years construction supervisory experience required.
• OSHA Training.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction teams to deliver Substation and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) work safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate scheduling, cost reporting, and quality during project execution.
• Develop staffing plans and recruit craft and field leadership for project.
• Support design constructability reviews and risk assessments.
• Maintain safety programs and ensure compliance with project goals.
