Job summary

Lightshift Energy is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of operating BESS projects, ensuring commercial, financial, and technical performance from COD through end of life. You will protect ITC, manage budgets, and coordinate with investors and lenders.

You will work with O&M, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Development teams to meet contractual obligations and optimize value across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business, or related field.
• 3+ years in renewable energy asset management, project finance, or operations.
• Knowledge of tax equity partnership structures and ITC rules.
• Experience administering commercial contracts (offtake, O&M, interconnection, leases).
• Proficient with Excel and financial modeling; budgets, cash flow, waterfalls, variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Administer project agreements post COD and manage contracts.
• Maintain covenant and obligations registers for each project.
• Serve as liaison with offtakers, landowners, and host communities; negotiate amendments.
• Monitor KPIs against guarantees and pursue warranty claims.
• Produce monthly portfolio reports and support dashboards/tools development.
