Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets is seeking a Portfolio Execution Manager to build and manage a large portfolio of battery energy storage, edge compute, and EV charging projects. This role drives construction from permit-ready to energized, coordinating general contractors and specialty subs.

You will own budgets, schedules, safety, and quality while driving projects through inspection, commissioning, and energization to a clean handoff to operations. Regular travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years related professional experience.
• Experience managing construction of infrastructure, energy, or electrical projects.
• Experience owning construction budgets and schedules across multiple projects.
• Project management experience in construction/engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive construction delivery of a portfolio of EV charging, BESS, and edge compute projects from construction-ready to energized and operational.
• Take handoff of build-ready sites and mobilize construction quickly.
• Select, contract, and manage general contractors, EPCs, and subcontractors.
• Own construction budgets, schedules, quality, and safety across the portfolio.
• Coordinate utility construction, inspections, commissioning, and energization (PTO).
• Manage change orders, resolve field issues, and clear roadblocks to keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare each project for a handoff to operations and customer success teams.
• Contribute installed-cost actuals to support a repeatable unit-cost installation model.
