QVC Group, Inc. is hiring a Battery Changing Operator to support battery changes, charging, and readiness of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) batteries at the Florence facility. The role requires operating forklifts and related PIT equipment, keeping the area clean, and complying with safety protocols.

The position is onsite at our Florence facility with a 3-on-3-off schedule from 6:00pm to 6:30am. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a current MHE PIT certification, with willingness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current MHE certification for PIT equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Change, charge, and maintain PIT batteries while keeping the area clean and safe.
• Operate PIT equipment including forklifts and lifts.
• Assist with basic facility repairs and upkeep of building appearance and functionality.
• Support general housekeeping, trash removal, and recycling.
• Assist with indoor and outdoor facility events.
• Follow all safety and security procedures and maintain an organized work area.

The Battery Changing Operator supports QVC and helps maintain safe, efficient operations by ensuring they change, charge, and ready all Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) batteries for use.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Florence, SC facility daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Schedule: 3-on-3-off 6:00pm - 6:30am

What You'll Do

• Change, charge, and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) batteries while keeping the battery‑changing area clean and operational.
• Operate different PIT equipment including fork trucks, TSPs, PEs, RRs, RCs, scissor lifts, boom lifts, one-person lifts, and electric floor sweepers.
• Help with basic facility repairs and help maintain the appearance and functionality of the building.
• Support general housekeeping, trash removal, and recycling across all facility areas.
• Help with indoor and outdoor facility events.
• Follow all company safety and security procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of training.
• Current MHE certification for all required Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment.
• Work overtime, nights, and weekends to support operational demands.
• Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and maintaining an organized work environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow established procedures.
