Job summary

QVC Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Bethlehem, PA fulfillment center. You will perform general facility repairs, equipment maintenance, and repair on conveyors and dock systems, while ensuring safety and adherence to 5S standards.

The role requires 6+ months of mechanical/electrical experience, high school diploma, and relevant trade training. On-call duties apply, with competitive benefits and relocation not available.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
• High School graduate; industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification (electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair facilities including plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, and painting; fix dock doors, locks, and dock plates; assist outside vendors.
• Repair and maintain production-related equipment, forklifts and building systems; identify safety hazards and prevent issues.
• Support planned and unplanned repairs to conveyors, automation and sortation systems.
• Perform electrical work with AC/DC systems and use a voltage meter; follow lock out/tag out policy.
• Maintain 5S and safety; keep areas clean and inventory up to date; address safety spills immediately.
• Take on additional tasks to ensure requests are completed safely.

The Maintenance Technician II supports QVC and HSN, and performs basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance. This requires a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. You will assist all other Maintenance Technicians with more complex maintenance responsibilities. You will report to the Maintenance Area Manager. We have two positions available. Nights, Sunday to Wednesday from 6pm - 4:30am and Days, Wednesday to Saturday 8am - 5:30pm.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Bethlehem, PA fulfillment center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

• Building Maintenance – Perform and/or facilitate general facility repairs such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, HVAC, and wall repair. Perform repairs on dock doors, dock locks, and dock plates to resolve problems and ensure successful operation. Escort and assist outside vendors.
• Equipment Maintenance – Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production‑related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment. Identify and correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues before they become critical. Help with repairs when unscheduled breakdowns occur.
• Conveyor, Automation and Sorter Systems – Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment. Help with conveyor, automation and sortation system repairs.
• Electrical – Have a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter. Will follow lock out/tag out policy.
• Safety / Facility Cleanliness – Practice and be a leader in 5S and safety procedures to ensure that the area is safe, organized, and clean. Maintain complete inventory and cleaning of all equipment and work areas daily. Identify and act immediately to correct any safety hazards, spills, to avoid the risk of accident, and elevate issues.
• Other responsibilities, and activities as assigned. To ensure all requests are completed in a safe.

What You'll Bring

6+ months of experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a fast‑paced production environment.

High School graduate or equivalent; Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification (i.e., electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
• Familiarity with blueprints, and engineering specifications.

You will be on call as needed. Prefer working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/ DC systems.
