Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a dependable Hot Shot Driver to deliver batteries to dealers and support warehouse operations. You will run assigned routes, load and unload goods, and assist Route Managers while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

The role requires basic math, a clean driving record, and familiarity with inventory tools. You will work under supervision and contribute to accurate reporting and professional interactions with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Experience with inventory management tools preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis.
• Load and unload batteries.
• General warehousing duties and assist customers.
• Deliver batteries to customers on time and safely.
• Follow all EH&S rules and policies.
• Ensure batteries are charged, cleaned, dated, and stock wrapped after rotation.
• Accurately complete reports and claims.
• Interact professionally with team members, managers, and customers.
• Follow driver program requirements, as specified by the manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
