Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Hot Shot Driver to deliver batteries to dealers and support warehouse operations. You will run assigned routes, load and unload batteries, and assist Route Managers to ensure timely, safe deliveries.

This role requires basic math, good reading and writing, and a clean driving record. You will work with tablets and scanners, follow safety policies, complete reports, and interact professionally with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners).
• Must have a clean drivers record AND meet driver qualifications requirements
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed.
• Load and unload batteries.
• General warehousing duties as assigned by management, including assisting customers.
• Deliver batteries to customers on a timely basis and in a safe and professional manner.
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
• Ensure batteries are charged, cleaned and dated, and that stock is rewrapped after rotation.
• Accurately complete reports and claims.
• Interact professionally with all stakeholders including team members, managers and customers.
• Follow / fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
