Job summary

Interstate Battery System of America Inc in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a warehouse/delivery team member to deliver batteries to dealers and maintain a well-stocked, organized warehouse. You will run routes, load and unload batteries, and assist Route Managers.

Candidates must have a clean driving record, be able to operate a forklift, hold a valid state driver's license, and be able to read, write, and perform simple math.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and forklift.
• Must have current, valid state driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries to dealers when requested.
• Provide a well-stocked and organized warehouse and assist Route Managers.
• Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed.
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Accurately complete reports and claims.
