Job summary

MOBIS South Carolina Electrified Powertrain (MSCe) is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations for Battery Module and Battery System production. You will oversee supervisors and technicians, drive safety and quality, and coordinate continuous improvement across the BEV production line.

The role requires a 4-year degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering and 5 years in automotive production, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 years automotive experience preferred with knowledge of modular components and battery systems.
• Knowledge of Automotive Quality Requirements and problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan short and long-term objectives for Battery Module and Battery System production.
• Provide capacity and labor planning for all manufacturing departments in the Module Division.
• Coordinate continuous improvement teams to boost productivity, quality and safety.
• Lead corrective action plans and ensure root-cause analysis and effective countermeasures.
• Deliver training on continuous improvement and coach team members.
