Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high‑volume battery module assembly line. You will spend substantial time on the shop floor guiding operators, solving problems, and ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.

You will coach and develop teams, manage shift staffing, coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering, and drive continuous improvement using Lean tools to reduce downtime and improve OEE in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred in related field.
• Proven manufacturing or production experience in a high-volume setting.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Knowledge of KPIs including OEE, downtime analysis, FPY.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety excellence and zero injuries; follow LOTO and PPE policies.
• Lead production operators and technicians to meet daily goals.
• Staffing planning, shift coverage, and performance management.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering to resolve constraints.
• Verify readiness of materials, tooling, equipment, and quality before shift start.
• Coach and develop employees; conduct training and evaluations.
• Monitor downtime trends and drive improvements to OEE and throughput.
• Support preventive and autonomous maintenance activities.
• Ensure documentation and records meet quality and compliance standards.
• Lead 5S, Kaizen, and lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve flow.
• Maintain visual management and communicate shift results daily.
• Drive containment and corrective actions for defects with root-cause analysis.
