Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience.
• Master's degree in a relevant field and 1+ year of experience.
• Hands-on experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting industrial production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop chemical processes for battery active materials to meet application, product, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to operate production-scale tools.
• Champion process improvements and partner with external vendors on custom equipment when off-shelf solutions don't exist.
• Analyze material characterization data and apply Statistical Process Control to troubleshoot out-of-spec lots.
• Build coin cells to quantify electrochemical performance of R&D materials.
• Own preventive maintenance planning, spare parts strategy, and equipment health monitoring.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment at all times.
