Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Technical Operator to support daily battery production. The role involves operating equipment, assembling components, and performing inspections in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The position is full-time, on-site with 12-hour rotating shifts. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour with shift- Premiums for night shifts, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of manufacturing, production, assembly or related experience preferred.
• Experience with hand/power tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, materials and workstations for production.
• Operate manufacturing equipment following procedures.
• Load raw materials and monitor equipment to sustain production.
• Assemble lithium-ion battery components meeting quality and safety standards.
• Perform in-process inspections and document results.
• Record production activity and quality data in GMES system.
• Report malfunctions, quality concerns and safety hazards promptly.
• Perform basic equipment operation, changeovers and troubleshooting.
• Use hand and power tools safely to support production.
• Move materials and finished products following handling procedures.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies.
