LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is hiring a Process Engineer I to optimize ESS battery production through technical process knowledge, recipe setting, and quality improvements. Responsibilities include improving yield, OCR, and PD by aligning specs and standardizing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (MBA/MS preferred), 1–3+ years in production tech, and experience with automated and robotic equipment. On-site, with standard hours and occasional travel.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; MBA or MS preferred.
• 1–3+ years of experience in production technology or related field.
• Experience with automated and robotic manufacturing equipment is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Analyze productivity, yield and OEE of assigned processes.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators to troubleshoot battery system and optimize yield and OEE.
• Analyze quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Standardize and improve manufacturing processes by creating SOPs and conducting operator training.
• Optimize process conditions and establish standard operating specifications.
• Develop, maintain, and update process documentation (PFDs, PFMEAs, CPs).
• Lead chronic defect reduction and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage production/development model dissemination and verify 4M process changes.
• Handle NCRs and drive corrective action improvements.
• Respond to internal and external quality inquiries and customer concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
