Job summary

LG Energy Solution is seeking an Engineer I, Process to optimize ESS battery production through high-level technical knowledge, focusing on recipe setting, specification alignment, process capability, and defect reduction. The role emphasizes hands-on manufacturing support with strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; MBA or MS preferred.
• 1–3+ years experience in production technology is preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and quality improvements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze productivity, yield and OEE for assigned processes.
• Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot battery systems and optimize yield.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and train operators to ensure floor compliance.
• Lead chronic defect reduction and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage documentation such as Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
• Address Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and drive corrective actions.
