Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America (PECNA) seeks ambitious engineers to lead the world’s largest lithium ion battery initiative. You will join the Battery Manufacturing Engineering team to optimize production lines, apply root-cause analysis, and develop clear work instructions for high-speed automated manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in manufacturing, strong mechanical troubleshoot skills, and know-how with 3D CAD, MPO, and P&IDs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to work production shift schedules
• Learn and perform machine troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge or experience with 3D CAD, mechanical drawings, MPO, P&IDs

Responsibilities

• Be part of Panasonic’s Battery Manufacturing Engineering team to support production and improve metrics
• Assist levels II & III in daily production activities and optimize OEE
• Use production data to manage tasks and track performance
• Develop standard work instructions, SOPs and troubleshooting guides
• Support implementation of permanent countermeasures on the line
